While most years during this season there’s a focus on finding a homecoming queen, this year the student body decided to add an emphasis on finding her king.
Last night, September 6th, Grantsville High hosted their first ever Mr GHS pageant. It was a unique twist on the typically Homecoming Queen dominated experience; an opportunity for these guys to show their talents and “funny contrast to the homecoming queen”, as said by Jackson Jenkins.
Spirit Officer, Zac Daybell explained that they chose this because they wanted to “add an activity that included everyone, and kind of gave a different feel of homecoming and give it a different perspective”.
With this year being the first for this pageant, that means these royalty members are able to make their mark in GHS history.
In first place was Max Critchlow and second was Joe wright. These 2 along with the other placers and contenders are sure to be remembered and we can only wonder who will be our next Mr. GHS.
