Once again Grantsville has its annual Homecoming parade. People come together to celebrate one another to support our school teams and clubs. Homecoming royalty, Latinos in Action, Band, football, and others were all featured in the parade. This simple but wholesome act helps kick off another great school year for students.
The parade also has an important role in the community as well. Miss Congeniality and 2023-2024 Lations in Action president, Carrisa Luna-Trujillo, said, “The impact the homecoming parade has is a huge positive impact on our community here in Grantsville. It allows our townspeople to be a part of what they stand for. It brings together the town in celebration and is a fun event to watch.”
The parade is meant for all audiences. However, Chelsea Bodell said, “The target audience is for the kids because we get to show the possibilities of high school.” There isn’t just one thing to do. As the years go by more and more possibilities and opportunities arise for younger generations to come.
