This week the girls volleyball team had to deal with two home games in three days; on Tuesday, September 19th, the Cowboys played a very intense game against Union, in which all the players and the cheer put so much effort.
After two very quick sets, where it seemed like they were about to surrender, the team went back to the volleyball court with a totally different attitude.
The last set was very intense, all the players did a really good job and we almost managed to win but in the end they lost it, and by that they lost the game.
After the game against Union the Cowboys volleyball team had just one day off, because on Thursday, September 21th, they had to face South Summit, again at home.
Everyone could tell that the girls volleyball team put so much effort and work in this game, after 3 very hard-fought sets, where the student section had to face the unexpectedly and incredibly loud South Summit student section, and the volleyball team had to face the solid South Summit team, they unfortunately lost.
Grantsville almost flawless attack was very often well-challenged by their amazing defense, and even if Cowboys were about to lose the girls volleyball team didn’t throw the towel and kept fighting until the end, with pride and honor.
