Homecoming Parade
Homecoming Parade
The ROTC is marching with our stars and stripes. It’s the Homecoming parade and the town is applauding the floats. The blaring trumpet coming from our very own band is tramping through the parade route. 2022-23 ‘s Homecoming Royalty gracefully waves as they stroll by in their carriage. The royalty this year is our Homecoming Queen Alison Hurst. The First Attendant is Rylee Dalton. Second Attendant is Vanessa Expeluru. And our Miss Congeniality is Elizabeth Jensen.
Drill team performs their country dance and the administration throws frisbees to the crowd. The SBO’s show their school spirit by chanting their prideful cheers. Candy is thrown in every direction and children are scrambling to at least get one. “The candy was the best part of the parade!” Kelsy Hales comments.
Football players shout and wave in preparation for the game they are about to play tonight. “This has been the best parade I’ve seen from the three years I’ve been here” exclaims Hayden Scott.
