“I’m a hard worker, no matter how many times I get dragged down I always manage to get back up,” said Morgan Thornton, a senior who loves to play basketball. Morgan is the oldest of four  and her dad is the assistant principal.

Morgan started playing basketball when she was in the fifth grade, at first, she didn't like it but then grew to love it after her first practice.  Morgan said that, "Basketball is my passion,” but she also likes to paint, draw, sing, write, and to run track.

Morgan describes herself as determined, and said that one of her greatest achievements is when she broke her foot playing basketball but was able to get back on her feet to keep playing. Another great achievement of Morgans is lettering in basketball and track.

Morgan joined journalism because she loves to write. She is our Feature Editor, her goal in journalism is to have fun writing. Some goals Morgan has for her future is to graduate high school and go to college at UVU. Morgan also plans on serving an LDS mission.
