How cheer effects the game

Cheers are more than skirts and bows. “I think it’s important to have cheerleaders at the game because they know how to get the student section and crowd hyped and involved with the game,” said junior, Charlee Shafer. They practice during the summer Monday- Thursday 6-8 am and also take a whole class period to practice as well.

They spend hours upon hours trying to figure out ways to get the students, crowd, and the players hyped up. “It’s important to have cheerleaders at games because when the crowd isn’t cheering for our team we get cheerleaders there pumping up the crowd or our team,” said senior, Ika Totai.
