Devon Hurst, Journalist, Photographer
"It ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward", Devon Hurst, a senior here at Grantsville, quoted from one of his favorite movies, Rocky Balboa. A character he has looked up to his whole life, and even dressed up as for Halloween last year.
Devon spends most of his hours playing guitar and writing songs. It is his biggest passion, and his escape from the chaos of our world. He also enjoys wrestling, running track, hanging out with friends, singing, and mountain biking.
As a student that joined the Journalism class late, Devon is excited to share his writing and photography skills. He believes that sharing the right news is very important to people.
Devon's plans after high school are to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and then go to college studying law and aviation.
