Girls Basketball team goes undefeated at the Cedar City tournament with a total of 12 games. This has never been done in the tournament before.

That’s not the only exciting news. Senior, team captain of the girl’s basketball team, Kenzie Allen, scored her thousandth point in the tournament. Allen is the 6th person to ever score a thousand points in the girl’s basketball program.

” I knew I was close but I didn’t know when I would hit it. It was pretty hype though with everyone in the stands knowing and cheering for me,” said Allen.

The girls surprised her with a cake and celebrated. This has been one of Allen’s many goals. Allen’s biggest goal is to win a state championship.

The freshmen cheered loud for varsity and contributed well to the team. The seniors know how to hype up the bus with their tunes and dance moves. Allen hopes to end the season with a state basketball ring and trophy.
