    The Glowing Lanterns

As it’s getting closer to Spring Break, students will have much more free time. And there isn’t a better place to spend that free time, at none other than the Night Lights Festival. This festival takes place in Tooele, Utah, at the Deseret Peak Complex and is held at night. As the sun sets, this festival comes alive with flying lanterns and glowing fire pits. This festival is an outstanding spectacle of lights and adds many more stars to the sky. This event is for all ages and is held on March 25, 2024. Other than the glowing lanterns, there are fire pits, live music and food. You can use these pits to your heart’s content for s’mores or barbecues. It all depends on if you’re a sweet or savory person, or maybe even both! While you eat, you can enjoy live music performances from none other than Fred Lee! Also, there’s no need to worry about what happens to the lanterns and littering. “Our mission is to leave each venue cleaner than we found it.” This means Volunteers will pick up all the trash the day after, so you can have fun without needing to worry about littering. But be sure to get to this event early, as this place gets packed up pretty quickly. You wouldn’t want to miss out on this spectacular event!
