Tylie Hancock, Editor In Chief
Being elected for Student Government five years in a row is a goal everyone dreams of achieving; for Tylie Hancock, she doesn’t need to dream, she’s achieved it and hopes to continue to be in Student Government for her senior year.
“Student Gov is my whole life,” said Hancock. She clearly has a passion and dedication for this extracurricular. Hancock said, “I love being behind the scenes with the school.” This also explains why she loves and enjoys working on the social media of Kelly Hill Photography.
Not only has she excelled at winning the hearts of her classmates for five years, she played volleyball during her freshman and sophomore years of high school. On top of Student Gov and volleyball, she has also maintained a good GPA score.
Tylie’s goal is to become CNA certified next year as a first step to becoming a heart surgeon or an ER doctor. She also wants to work towards going to Stanford or Yale for education. Other than being an ambitious healthcare student, she has a dream of being a mom one day. “Family is my number one goal… I just want to be a mom one day,” she expressed.
As a journalist for the school newspaper, her goal is to discover what it’s like to write published work for the school newspaper this year. She thinks writing is important and is excited to learn how to be a journalist like her dad. Keep an eye out for Tylie Hancock, and her stories covering social texting norms.
